Duometre dimensions
Hi guys, just a quick question if I may - I have been trying to find the lug-to-lug dimensions for the 42mm Duometre to see how it is likely to sit on my wrist in comparison to my Portuguese 5001. By lug-to-lug I don't mean how wide is the strap, I mean how likley are the lugs to over-hang on my wrist? From the pics I am estimating 48mm-50mm (42mm bezel + 3-4mm of lug each side) but if someone had a watch they could stick a ruler against or has another source for the dimensions of the piece, that would be great!
I know I have to try the watch on my wrist to be sure, but my nearest JLC AD is 2+ hours away, so it would be good to get a bit of info up front!

You're a bit over 50 mm, from lugs to lugs.
But let's take it differently: On a regular wrist ( 17 cm ) it will fit perfectly. Best, Nicolas

Thanks Nicolas - I'm wearing my 233 Panerai today and it's about 55mm lug-to-lug and is fine, so I'm happy to hear that.
Still, I would not consider any watch without trying it...
Even if I am pretty sure that it will fit your wrist, if you can wear a 233 without issue. Best, Nicolas
