OK gentlemen. I can't really imagine any women wanting to read this after my "Hublot Big Bang King" below, as in
but this one...is for those who really do like movements AND a big wtch, and I really do like THIS DB24, and next to the "king from Hublot", this is the exact opposite, size is retained as an attraction. No Patek type of conservative BS here..chuckles, no offense to Patek!

Now for the very exciting parts and bits...
And this is what watch making of this century is to me..

Look at case construct...always an important facet of watchmaking to me. I feel that for series productions, the movements are sometimes less interesting...the cases however, are very very costly, and are of course, more visually assesable to the owner..and of great tactile importance.

Now..the dial:
Remember my very great interest in the Bulgari 303? I am still highly recomending people to look at that watch, this one, the DB24 is of a much higher price, but not only is the dial incredible, the movement is also 100x more complex to make and design. Price? More than 5x more than a 303. So...
A simpler dial..
But look at the very interesting "Bauhaus" , well not exactly, but similar..red and black display..

Now..THIS is why I want any, any DB watch...the spider like balance wheel!!!

So I have not lost my head over the Hublot Big Bang King, it is a watch that I MUST buy because it allows FUN.
This DB24, is a serious watch, also something I must have. It compliments a series of relevant watches that are , to me, significant statements from the industry that serious work, and not "just marketing" to make money, is still in existence.
I respect the folk at DeBethune. The work is not for everyone because the prices are not affordable, generally speaking. The essence of such good work at more down to earth prices, are found on the Bulgari 303 today. Minus the amazing movement you see here.
But if finances allow, then THIS is a watch to go look at!
The again, if a purer, none conformist view is desired..with no round case and hands..then the MB&F 2, or wait for MB&F 3...
however, the DB24 is, to me, a super incredible watch that is well rounded in BOTH aesthetic appearance and movement construct.
