Classic vs. new, Larger Models
I'm curious to know how some of you feel about this subject. Does anybody else feel that JLC are losing the plot a bit in an attempt to stay au cour?nt, eliminating gorgeous classics like the Master Grande Taille, Master Date and others, in favor of the new larger watches that are all the rage now? I love those 37-38mm dress watches, and I don't see companies like, say, Patek making such a drastic shift. I have always felt that the Master Control series were exquisite in their proportion and asthetics. Are they throwing out the baby with the bathwater, so to speak? Forgive me for saying so, but some of the wrist shots of the extra-large Reversos and the like look just plain silly to me. Of course this is only my opinion. I would love to hear yours.
