case question
I'm thinking of purchasing my first F.P. Journe, and have been looking at the Calendier. I can get the watch in either 38mm or 40mm and have read a number of posts dealing with the asthetics of each. My understanding is that the watches are identical regarding the dial/movement/etc. the only difference being in the thickness of the case. My question: all other things being equal, would the thicker case of the 40mm result in a more robust/durable watch? Thank you.
