Breguet 7137 vs 7337
Hello everyone:
I am in my final stages of determining between a Breguet 7137 and Breguet 7337. I really like both models and they are approximately the same price. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on both models compared to one another. This is my first gold watch and I want to make the best choice for the long-term.

There is something important you should consider.
The "chinoise" (7337) has a second hand while the 7137 doesn't. This could be important: I know that some people don't like "static" dial. But you can't be wrong with any! Fx

I have a 3137 which is the smaller version of the 7137. I bought it because it was inspired by the breguet no 5. and also the fully engrave caseback. i have enjoyed it tremendously and i hope you will too when you choose the 7137

Thanks for this. I tend to agree with you that symmetry is harmonious and aesthetically-pleasing. That said, there is a trend towards assymetric-type displays as well. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

I used to think I preferred symmetrical dials, but experience is showing me that asymmetrical dials can retain my interest for longer. Symmetry can get boring! It's partly why that offset subseconds dial adds some needed tension to the face. Andrew
