Bracelet issue
hi all,
I read somewhere that the older panerai OEM bracelets from a certain series and earlier would pop open if one were to bend one's wrist forwards or backwards.
Is that true? and if so, which series has bracelets with this problem?

Yes the 1st generation Panerai bracelets would pop open if u bend
your wrist all the way backwards. This occurs because the deployant clasp has no security pushers as you can see in the below picture. The clasp is only secured by snap in friction. Panerai then added 1 security pusher in the 2nd generation bracelet. And ...

No pusher on my D series...
I had a PAM050D which was the 40mm on a bracelet. It was the first generation bracelet without the release pusher. I never had a problem with the bracelet unlatching and I wore it pretty much everyday for 4 years. Chris
