Blancpain & Swatch....

I've been looking for a less expensive travel watch for a while now and have had my eye on a Blancpain Swatch branded piece. I thought these Swatch models looked pretty good for the price and originally loved the all black version but this new green verison was just released a few days ago and seeing that I couldn't decide between the two, I ended up buying them both! Here are photos right out of the box next to my 50th Anniversary....





I'm not a huge fan of nato style straps although this two piece verison on the green model is ok...



Here is what I switched them both over to strap wise. I'm not 100% sold on the black sail cloth for the green model so I'll have to experiment a little more on that one. I'm not sure which piece I like better, I'll say that Swatch hit an absolute homerun with these two verisons!...















As good as these two are, nothing beats the original though!
