Background information
Thanks for the warm welcome. It's a real pleasure to join The Purists as moderator of The Patek Forum.
Like most of you I became interested in fine watches because of their historical significance and mechanical complexity. Like many of you I thought I was the only one that owned multiple watches and always thought I was buying my last watch. I was not satisfied until I bought my first Patek, the original Aquanaut 5060A. My current favorite is the Platinum Worldtimer. Being involved all my career in product development, including many mechanically complex products, I admired the many accomplishments of the watchmaking profession.
I've developed a number of great relationships in the industry, relationships that I hope will benefit you, ThePuristS' community member, as well, with news and information and special insights. Having been active in the online watch discussion world for over 5 years, I have come to look at you as my friends and virtual neighbours, and fellow loonies in this most gentle of madnesses.
I look forward to sharing our mutual horological growth.
