automatic winding vs a manual wind...
hi guys/ladies, I wonder if you could shed some light on the topic. I am considering another watch. This time a FP Journe Resonance, and the reason I am posting this question here instead of the Journe board is that I really like to get an objective view on this. People on the journe board are nice but they are too much of a fan to say anything bordering on Journe heresy!
So my question is : as far a watch like the Resonance go, would it be better if it were an automatic winding? Is there a horological advantage in a manual winding watch vs auto-winding? And insofar as personal tastes go, what would YOU prefer, and WHY???
