Every brand has their iconic piece, the Monaco Steve McQueen to me is the one to find, examined and owned, was a dream until yesterday when I actually man-handled one in a shop that sell vintage watches. After surviving 45 years, no box & papers are understood, the watch condition according to the shop owner (also a friend) claimed the previous owner has serviced once. She's a definite beauty and after agreeing on a reasonable offer, I am taking her home this weekend. Many web articles on this piece and held true when I held the 1133B on my hand, just don't want to leave her and quickly settled on the deal. Here is the first snap in the shop, and I put this against my recent purchase of the re-issue McQueen for comparison. I hope Tag Heuer do Monaco re-issue watches without removing the 12 hrs chrono register, it just doesn't seem right putting a 30 minutes register on their re-issues, actually I hated it...will contemplating selling the new re-issue now that I found the holy grail piece...

Cheers to all... Ian
