Accuracy to Expect
I have recently moved to the 'Automatic Watch' world with the purchase of a new mille miglia 1998. I had a couple of questions.
First of all, it seems that in a period of 24 hours it loses 8 seconds.. is that normal, I have only had it for a week.. will it improve? Is there a 'break in period? Also, is it true that you can 'manually' wind it using the crown clockwise if it were to stop due to lack of reserve?
Anybody have any comments on the quality of the movement of this particular watch? I was undecided between this one and the 2002 version which is chronometer certified, but I think that the 1998 model is more elegant.
Any feedback or comments would be greatly appreciated.
