A treat for my wife.....
No, not a JLC! My wife likes the Amvox II and thinks it is one of the nicest watches that I have (well, she has good taste, indicated in no small part by the fact that she married me 
)
Since we attended the day driving the Aston Martin DB9s at Millbrook my wife has been unable to talk about anything else. She had such a great time and said she would love to do it again. Well, unfortunately racing around Millbrook is not something that I can organise, so I went for the next best thing.
My wife's birthday is on the 7th November. So, I have hired an Aston Martin DB9 from the 6th to the 8th for her to drive around. She will have exclusive use of my Amvox II to wear whilst driving the DB9, and we have lunch booked on the 7th at a very nice restaurant where you have to drive down a very long carriage driveway before coming to the car park by a lake in the grounds. She will absolutely love arriving in style!
I feel privileged to be able to purchase and wear JLC watches. If it wasn't for the good graces of the London boutique we would never have gone to Millbrook and never have driven the DB9. So it is nice to be able to give my wife something that she will enjoy and remember and which is related in some part to my passion for JLC and their exquisite timepieces.
