A quick picture on the Reference 24001.

And : but accurate:
I am not a big fan of dates, and even less about day dates, and have to confess that on pictures, this funky watch didn't please me a lot, but to see it in the real gives you a different perspective.
Not my favourite, though,, but well, if I had to complete my collection of Vintage chronometres from the Grande Maison, it may be a good idea to try to get one.

Nicolas, great watch - rarely talked about. The whole 2400x series with the cal 906 is not top of mind to collectors, but I find them quite interesting. VC used the same caliber in a similar watch (Royal Chronometre). Also very rare and not often seen. I ...
Yes, same calibre used in the Auto CRs from Vacheron.

To me this is maybe only a piece, where one would have to discover its appeal and significance ; not immediately clear, in a way. But the typical shape of the funky times, and the fact that it is a chronometre contributes to desirability, I can imagine. T...
