Patek Philippe - 3710 flip lock question

3710 flip lock question

Were there different versions of the flip lock on this watch? I have seen one with the Calatrava cross engraved on the flip lock and another version with a round engraved seal of the cross that is pinned onto the lock. Is this correct? Any comments?
