I'm the proud owner of a Patek 3445 date, 18 K gold case housing a superb 27-460m, dating appr. 1968. I just got it back from factory for a comprehensive overhaul and restoration. Nevertheless, something puzzles me: while running steadily around its minute dial, the metallic tick-tock sound turns during 15 seconds into somewhat more musical (somehow like ding-dong)then goes back to metallic sound. Would it be that the movement echoes in the case or does anybody know the reason? Thanks in advance.
