[SiHH 2016] Laurent Ferrier novelties

 

I posted on Monday a picture of the Galet Traveller Globe Night Blue (here: www.watchprosite.com ) but this wasn't the only novelty Laurent Ferrier has unveiled during this SiHH 2016.






Here are 3 other watches which look by the way very nice too.



GALET TRAVELLER BOREAL

In its 41 x 12.6mm case, the new vertical satin-brushed dial (with slight slate-grey transfer for the minutes ring) takes the inspiration from the sector-type dial available in the Only watch unique version or in some vintage watches from the 1930's.

As always, I think it looks superb and that the modern interpretation of the sector decoration is very well designed an dintegrated. The specific hands are also the reason why I think it works so nicely.









GALET SQUARE BOREAL

This one, as you noticed, is the Square case version of the same dial (without the second timezone and date windows of course).














GALET CLASSIC SQUARE

This is a new version made from the Double Balance Spring Tourbillon.

However, the significant change in this version is in on the dial side: it is a white grand feu enameled dial.

 
From the classical round case to the square version, I think that these Laurent Ferrier are gorgeous looking watches and that the new dials seem to succeeded in bringing a very balanced modern touch.

As usual, to be confirmed in the metal.
