With great pleasure (and a bit of surprise) I would like to share with you that two Zenith timepieces have been preselected for this year's Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève that will take place on November 10.

First, there is the Pilot Ton-Up, competing in the category "Petite Aiguille", which PPro reviewed here . Second, the jury chose the El Primero 36'000 VpH with the new anthracite dial in the category "Chronograph". Also this watch has received our in-depth treatment recently .

Good luck, Zenith!

Cheers,
Magnus

But how do they continue to submit essentially the same movement with a different dial annually (albeit in different categories), it doesn't seem particularly progressive? Something from this years tourbillon series might have been a stronger candidate. Ian

... and the new Ladies' Elite Moon Phase, but the Jury did not pick these. Best, Magnus P.S.: Having said that, I am totally d'accord with you. I am eagerly looking forward to an El Primero 2.0!

Now if I just had the money right now to add those to my Pilot Type 20 Bronze. That would be a trio made in heaven for me.

I am a happy Zenith owner as well but have the same criticism. Also, for the love of God (and precision time keeping), please separate those overlapping subdials. Grrrrr!
