On June 29 this year, Zenith has taken a temporary residence at the mystically beautiful Porto Cervo coast in Sardina, Italy, renowned for its emerald seascape. The brand's pop-up pop has been inaugurated with a special 25-piece limited edition of the pathbreaking Zenith Defy El Primero 21, clad in maritime attire.

The pop-up pod is open from now until 18 September 2018.

The pop-up pod not only displays the most prominent members of the Zenith collection...

... but also an interactive hologram of the Zenith Defy El Primero 21 'Porto Cervo' Edition.

Speaking of which, the Defy El Primero 21 'Porto Cervo' is a maritime-themed version of this grounbreaking timepiece. Housed in the same 44mm titanium case than its regular siblings, which by-the-way draws its inspiration from the shape of the original El Primero models from the early 1970s, it differs itself by means on white subdials and an equally white ceramic bezel

All accents on the watch, such as on the crown, the hands as well as on the indices, are fashioned in deep blue. On its sapphire caseback Zenith engraved a yacht on the crest of a wave and the name Porto Cervo.

It comes with a white rubber strap covered with deep blue alligator skin with Zenith's comfortable titanium folding clasp.
