Vacheron Constantin is a brand I always want to love, but, this year, it's been difficult for me because I don't respond at all to the 270th anniversary Maltese cross signature pattern they've used on all the models. I personally see it as a very indiscreet and unrefined branding (just my feeling, of course).

Another 270th anniversary signature is the replacement of the traditional "CĂ´tes de Genève" decoration of the bridges by a "CĂ´te unique" decoration or finishing.

The two novelties are:
  • The new Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar caliber 2162 QP/270.
  • The new Perpetual Calendar Retrograde Date Openface caliber 2460 QPR31/270.
The other watches are new variants of already existing models.

Anyway, here are some photos of each model of the Traditionnelle line, from the most to the least complicated.

Best, Emmanuel

The tourbillon, with the Maltese cross motif, is my favorite in the business along with the JLC Gyros. With that said, even though I don't dislike this new guilloche pattern, it isn't as attractive as many of their 'standard offering' dial configurations are in my opinion. Thank you so much for the wonderful high-quality pictures! Cheers, Filip

For me, the new dial pattern works much better when there are more things happening there. For the time only with small seconds, it’s a miss. Thanks for sharing !

Similar feelings about the motifs. Also diameters could be 1-2mm less judging from the backsides.

are obviously small for the case size. Thanks for chiming in. Best, Emmanuel

but, imo, they have a smallish movement compared to the case (or a large case for the diameter of the movement). Best, Emmanuel

the pattern is less visible on the openface dials. Thanks for chiming in ! Best, Emmanuel
