Been super busy this past week with family and a sick wife 😪. Nothing serious but still not pleasant during the holidays.

This year has been CRAZY to say the least but I cannot complain regardless of the ups and down. Horologically, it has been an astounding year with Santa bringing me a gorgeous 3700 1J just before Christmas.

Santa also brought 2 other surprises which I will share in the New Year 😉

Better late than never I guess 🤣

For now, saying goodbye to 2021 with a fitting piece, one of the more recent acquisitions and something that I will enjoy watching as the date changes over 😜

I have NO idea why this VC Malte Chronograph Perpetual doesn't get more love. It stands shoulder to shoulder with ANY manual wind Perpetual Chronograph from any maison (haute horlogerie). I have owned and still own many beautiful pieces and I can assure you, this one is on par with any of them.

Guess it's good for us WIS who prefer quality more than hype as these could be had for a ridiculously low amount compared to a Patek 5970P, 5270P, etc...🤷‍♂️

I will be wearing this Omega with my new Hermes bracelet. I will pause and note two things. First, I am back in the USA after 10 days in Copenhagen. The process to return home, in this time of Omicron, couldn’t have been easier. I simply needed a rapid test within one day of the flight. Denmark has exceptional access to such tests — no appointments needed and no fees! The SAS direct flight was maybe 75% full. Dulles Airport was very busy with flights arriving from all around the world. Clearly,
