Nicolas (amanico) presents a compelling comparison between two exquisite Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Chronograph references in platinum, highlighting the classic silver dial and the more distinctive salmon dial. His post invites collectors to consider how dial color profoundly impacts a watch's character and aesthetic appeal, particularly within a highly regarded historical collection. This exploration underscores the subtle yet significant choices that define luxury watch collecting.

I love both of them:

Both are exquisite, the silver a top classic, the salmon more original and eye catching.

And this case!!!!

Enjoy,

Nicolas

I see a pattern in salmon dial, but not the white…which may be from lighting/picture.

I don’t see many pictures of the old limited black dial. Both black and silver would be strap monsters! Post Halloween 🎃 post=)
