What a nice combination!
I really want to buy one. Have to wait awhile because I just bought the Cornes de Vache, but I already have the itch. I tried it on recently in the VC boutique, and it’s incredibly comfortable. I usually prefer white gold or platinum for non-dress watches, but the 1921 seems to work perfectly in all 3 metals. The VC website still lists all 3 metals, but I thought the platinum and yellow gold had been discontinued. Can anyone confirm?
The new smaller version should be the only one available I believe. Wish you you will have it soon.,. Mo
I was in the VC boutique in NY yesterday, and they confirmed that the RG (40mm version) is still available and even in stock. Platinum has been discontinued. I think both versions are equally fantastic and have very different feels. I find the RG warmer and more vintage, but the platinum more “modern” (perhaps because of the blue numbers). I tried on the RG and wish I could see the platinum in person. Beautiful watches. Regrettably, I didn’t come to appreciate VC until recently, so I missed out
Regardless... great watch. Mo
