AP+ celebrates Vacheron Constantin's 270th anniversary with a new acquisition, the Cornes de Vache. This article delves into AP+'s personal journey of appreciating Vacheron Constantin and highlights the distinctive features of this iconic chronograph, making a case for its unique position in modern horology.

Pleased to share that I’m celebrating Vacheron’s 270th birthday with the acquisition of this Cornes de Vache.

I was late to appreciating Vacheron, but I’m all in now. The Cornes de Vache is distinctive by its namesake the ‘cow-horn-shaped lugs’ which add a mid-century flair to the design. Powered by Vacheron’s Geneva-seal version of the Lemania 2310, the same that powered Omegas speedmasters to the moon and Patek’s long line of mid-century chronographs. Though based off vintage design, the modern steel watch has distinctive modern touches including the blue color-shifting minutes track.
In my opinion, this is perhaps one of the best ‘clinic watches’ despite the lack of a pulsometer!

It really is a beautiful looking watch especially your version with the subtle blue tinge on the dial, wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc

Really gorgeous watch. There's a sort of lushness to the best Vacheron models that's hard to find anywhere else.
