quattro introduces the Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 20th Anniversary Limited Edition, a collaboration with designer Ora ïto. This article delves into quattro's initial impressions and the community's subsequent discussion, exploring the design choices and their reception among collectors. The piece examines how this limited edition balances the Patrimony collection's heritage of purity with contemporary design elements.

At the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Patrimony collection, Vacheron releases a new 100 pcs, 40mm, self-winding limited edition designed in collaboration with Ora ïto.

Born in 1977, Ora ïto calls his design ethos “Simplexity”, art of giving visible simplicity to an object with complex functions.

I personally like the design, but have mixed feelings about the date: the Patrimony line being all about purity and simplicity, the date window feels unwelcome to me.

Have a nice day!

I find that it looks too much like 90s watches (not the good looking ones). But maybe it will be very pretty in real life. Curious to see.

Good to see on the chaps hand, the presence is a bit too dominant. For me this steals a part of its charisma- dependent of the weist size of course. Not for my tiny 16cm wrist… 😅

It's my problem with these Patrimony. Never the good size for me. And this date isn't very nice. And as often nowadays it's a little bit lazy for an anniversary limited edition.

It may be too loud indeed, but there's something about the dial design which I really like.

I personally like the dial design, except for the date window.
