Peter Speake Marin on his 2012 Asian Tour stopped by the Lion City last weekend with the Gronefeld boys in tow.

Before the evening's event, our independent visitors managed to take into some local fare at a nearby eating house. Contrast the diversity of Singapore's architecture with the modern skyline of the business district above as well as the Marina Bay Sands Casino and hotel against this very old (probably colonial era) shophouse.

Feeling at home in old Singapore with their local tourguide. You wouldn;t think they were visitors... yah right!

No beers now which was reserved for after the event till 4AM or so I am told.

Just before the event and at the front of the National Museum of SIngapore where Peter and the Gronefeld Brother's wil hosttheir guests at the Novus Restaurant located within.

Part Deux of the Lion City Independent Visit

Enjoying a cold one before viewing the watches. Peter brought a whole slew of his work including the Renaissance Tourbillon Repeater which sounded lovely and his new Serpant Calendar. Some Piece Uniques were also on display. There were one or 2 other interesting pieces not on display which Peter was kind enough to share with me and a few the next day but requested for confidentiality at this time. Watch out for them.
