Not sure why it is still showing a wrong one… sorry for this🙈
They are sophisticated, elegant, classic and understated. I bet they confer similar emotions to you when you wear them. But there’s also clearly a fun and adventurous side to your personality that does not take itself too seriously. I commend you for that and I think you should explore it. Now, is a robin’s egg blue dialed Rolex the answer? Maybe, maybe not. I think you’re doing the right thing by trying it out for a week to see if it’s true love or just a passing fancy. I say less doubt and more YOLO 😀
Except on retail price. I strongly think the watch does not worth more than its retail price. Dont get me wrong. Rolex makes very fine and reliable watches. But a watch that hyped just because of the dial colour....nah.
1. If you don’t know and feel it yourself and have to ask us, this is not a watch you are 100% sure about. In this case I always would pass. 2. This dial colour is just part of a current hype. So, do you REALLY like it? 3. Regarding value: the development is difficult to predict in these crazy (greedy) times. But for me it would never be more worth than its retail price. Just my humble opinion. ☺️ All the best for your decision Thomas
Note that it wasn’t even a complete “betrayal” to Patek, since it was critical to employ two of their ADs carrying both brands in order to source them at retail (they are otherwise very hard to get, especially the OP41, for non-Rolex customers like me! ;-) So my only question is about your friend, given the crazy hype around this model (due only to an accidental dial color!)….is your friend requesting to you only what he paid for it? To be very honest, please do NOT pay a single cent above MSRP
