I also start to appreciate the beauty of yellow gold…. Thanks for sharing with us your excellent collection, particularly the YG green dial daytona and 5231J 👍🏻😊
Some could be a childhood thing or some underlying influenced that’s embedded in our minds. You’re very welcome 🙏🏻
Does that mean I'm still young? Jubilee bracelets are for old men? No problem with yellow gold with me. I like all golds and inert metals. Yellow, white, rose, platinum, palladium, steel, tungsten, titanium, and even ceramic. I'm definitely equal opportunity employer for all the different types of watch materials! Oh. Bronze. Hmm. I'm not crazy about bronze.
It must be when I’m younger, I see lots of Rolex jubilee wearing mature people, hence that impression.
When I was a little kid in school, all the adults wore these steel and gold jubilee bracelet Rolexes. I never really liked the Jubilee. Still don't. And I'm still not a big fan of steel and gold mixed on Rolexes. I don't mind the 5102PR Patek Philippe Celestial for some odd reason. But most steel and gold Rolexes- especially on Jubilee, I find less appealing. It's a little better on Oyster models to be mixed. My impressions as a kid still hasn't changed.
On the blue sky dweller. First I was disappointed but a day later thought it fits perfectly with the watch. Recently I sold all my yg pieces but now I am considering the full gold sub - so in my mid 50ies still without direction …
