we thought that last' year's 100% Passion meeting in the Netherlands was the best vintage Rolex GTG ever...but I have to say that thanks to Philipp and Bernhard this year was even better !
More friends, more watches, more fun !
My first great momentĀ after arriving in the Netherlands was the little surpriseĀ that my friend Dino had prepared to pick me up....a drive through the country in an Alfa Romeo SZ is something that I will never forget ! Thanks my friend ;-)
There was more serious stuff in the garage....but unfortunately, that's confidential ;-)
So here we are in a sunny morning and friends already unpack some serious stuff...
Amazing tropical Cosmogaphs twins....unbelievable ! One of these babies is already a very unusual sight...but I have never seen two of these at the same time !
Expert eyes from all over the world admire rare pieces...
Can you believe how beautiful these rare vintage pieces are ? That's Rolex collecting at its best...
Passionate debates start in every corner of the park...between Dutch, German, Italian, etc...and we share our knowledge...
A bunch of Big Crowns on a table....amazing...and they were not even all there already !
That 6200 is definitely my favourite, what a terrific Explorer dial in the sun ! That's the essence of the Submariner !
I could get used to it on my wrist...don't you think ?
But I would also be satisfied with these good old 5513's....Tropical, 3-6-9, double names, etc...
and my 5513 Tiffany & Co. was quite happy to finally meet her SerpicoĀ y Laino cousin...wow...
just as these two friends look definitely happy to meet !
Some more rare things, with these military pieces: two GMT's and two Sea Dwellers...again, I have never seen four of these together !
Tropical Milgauss 6541...am I awake ?
Some other members of the Rolex family tree...stunning vintage Panerai !
What a beast !
back to Rolex with some Daytonas....steel, gold, Paul Newman, Tropical dials, double names, etc...I'm drooling...this is simply crazy !
putting all the stuff together is of course amazing ! More and better stuff than last year...
So thanks a lot to Philipp and Bernhard for organizing the unforgetable event !
Ā
But don't forget that WIS's are also often car afficionados...so let's have a look on the parking to see our friend's cars...
This is killing me....what a classic design !
And those wheels are a work of art...
Wow Roger....this is serious drive...you also have taste for cars mate !
and you even gaveĀ someone a moment of dream ! He's working on the attitude ;-)

All these Beauties in the same place, at the same moment! That's unbelievable, a bit if like someone brought Heaven on Earth. I see that some friends of mine made the trip, as this good old JC, and our beloved Dino. Man, you just illed me with these no crown guard Subs, and once again, with your ... Tiffany 5513. Now, I need a Rest... Bip...Bip...Bip...DEAD. Nicolas
Jeff, Amazing GTG with everything one could dream off on display. However great to see that no one has a tropical dial YG 18ct 6239 that is why it is my Grail. Would love to meet the gang in person one day. Regards Rene
