Outside of the Day Date there’s no other Rolex to compete in terms of offering multiple functions right? I think if the case was smaller I’d be a lot more curious myself. I can see the attraction. You wear it well !
I must pull it off and store it away, and this was quite unexpected for me as well. The same for my OP41 and my DD40 - but not for the sports models. I guess it is due to getting older....
I really find this model attractive and versatile on top of being quite innovative from Rolex
All dough still 42mm, the new redesigned model is much friendlier in terms of confort with 1mm less thickness and more down curved lugs. I compared them and it’s significant. Maybe it’s time for you to give it another try?
An oversized date just, the dial is definitely the main attraction here, but the little devil in my head still prefers the white dial model… Glad you like it, perhaps it’s time for you to get one ))
It is one of the two most complicated models Rolex make, beside the YM2. The complication is the most useful Rolex can offer. The dial is beautiful and interesting as many things happening there (this and the DSSD Cameron are IMO the most interesting dials to stare at, beside some of the off catalog). Readibility is great, day or night. It is quite a comfortable watch. You can say is big, only if you look from the side. and even then not as big as many other "liked" models from different houses.
