I have the same Explorer and I think it's great too. It's a good size, nice weight, the white dial gives it a completely different look to the rest of my dark dialled collection, it's really legible and the orange GMT hand "pops" in a pleasing way. Enjoy! All the best, Jon
Good choice. I was 50/50 getting the polar. I was lucky to have the choice of all 3 Explorer and a GMT Master LV at my AD when I got mine. How times change. Enjoy. Kurt
The GMT LV would have been the main contender for me, but it is a bit of a quirky piece while the E2 is like a solid foundational piece.
