In a candid post, aperna shares a moment of horological introspection, revealing a preference for simplicity and consistency in their daily wear. This sentiment often resonates with collectors who, after years of acquiring, find themselves drawn to the comfort of a trusted timepiece. aperna's reflection invites a broader discussion on the evolving relationship between collectors and their watches, particularly as lifestyles shift.

This is typically when I buy a watch impulsively then sell it after 4 months! I even put on my iWatch god forbid for the first time in 2 years! I must be coming down with fever! Cheers!

I have applied a one watch per month rule (almost fully successfully) and it makes me enjoy my watches more. So changing less has some advantages to my experience. Keep enjoying my friend, Alex

I have dive watch, and dress watch, but feeling the itch for a watch that is none of these two category that could pass for casual AND that I could also wear at the office…I did not think about the office fit for my collection for the past 18 months, but now that we will gradually go back, it is hitting me!
