Henry (joenghenry) shares his excitement about acquiring the Tudor Black Bay 58 Ref. 79030B, highlighting its exceptional value and build quality. His initial post and subsequent insights delve into why this particular reference stands out in the current market, especially when compared to its Rolex counterparts. This article explores the community's appreciation for the BB58's design, movement, and historical connections.

Tudor Reference 79030B
The Tudor 79030B represents a contemporary automatic diving watch within the brand's current production lineup. Distinguished by its blue dial configuration, this 39mm reference offers a mid-sized case proportion suitable for diverse wrist sizes. The reference entered production in 2020 and remains available through authorized dealers.
The 39mm stainless steel case houses the automatic Cal. MT5402 movement, providing a substantial 70-hour power reserve. A unidirectional rotating bezel facilitates elapsed time measurement, while sapphire crystal protects the blue dial. The case construction achieves 200-meter water resistance, with the watch completed on a matching steel bracelet.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking a modern Tudor diving watch with extended power reserve capabilities. The blue dial variant offers color diversity within the model range, while the steel bracelet provides an integrated wearing solution. The 39mm case size positions this reference between smaller vintage-inspired models and larger contemporary offerings in Tudor's catalog.
Such a amazing and great watch . Love the BB58 line My blue says hi
A dated picture, as one can guess from the fall foliage. A really great watch.
Fun to wear super comfortable. ๐ Geross.
This black bay 58 is a close resemblance to the 94010, including the size, overall shape, matted blue dial and the hands. Besides, It is the only stainless steel blue "submariner" at the moment. The Rolex blue submariners (Smurf or the new blue black submariner) are in white gold and cost you 10+ times more in list price........yet, this BB58 also has in-house caliber and 70hr power reserve just like the Rolex cousins
