This thread captures the essence of collecting: passion, patience, and sometimes, paying a premium.

So I had to pay above MSRP. I know I broke my own cardinal rule about paying over. But it was a fair price for all things considered and I’ve been wanting it for a while.
It is good to be happy and enjoy while we can,
And especially with my ADs new rule of only one watch a year who knows if and when I would have had a shot at this one. Especially since I was offered this one or the WG GMT in December of last year, and since I couldn’t buy both I went with the GMT. So probably a very long wait before this one would come back around.
The current watch craze is very reminiscent of the tulip mania that swept Holland in the 17th century😉
Personally, I think one needs to live their life to the fullest. Wishing you the fullest of enjoyment!! -John
Well up to the valleys this morning back down to the ocean. It’s been a busy Mother’s Day for us.
