Maybe some framed vintage ads, one of those brass diving helmets, or anything else brand related would be better than this. With Rolex being Rolex it's possible they're told to keep displays as we see it. If optional, clean up that mess.
The local Wempe here in Munich regularly removes most of the more expensive pieces for the night and for the weekend. Last night Patek was all empty and ALS had just two Saxonias... Not into Rolex, so I don't remember. The ALS boutique around the corner had also just one Saxonia in the window...
