Fun fun. Happy 2020 😩
How does it work when you reserve a timepiece that gets delivered after a price change? you need to top up on the agreed price? Kev
We knew it, Rolex announced it last December. Vte
Most Rolex sell in the 8-15k range, so its almost fair to pay a bit more because it allows Rolex to make the money, not the buyer who wants to sell shortly after buying.
They haven't received any yet, so they don't really know about availability. Apparently, you have to order it and wait, but they don't foresee a long waiting period. Demand is not high at all, nothing to do with steel watches. Sorry, not much info, but this is all I got. The bad news is that the price tag is now harder to digest...
Their watch production is perfectly automated, the margins on steel watches are probably much higher than on the rest of the collection. Kinda like buying a base mode of a car.
