About the Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 116719

Rolex GMT-Master II Reference 116719

The Rolex GMT-Master II reference 116719 represents the white gold variant within the GMT-Master II collection. Produced from 2007 to 2019, this reference features a black dial paired with a bidirectional rotatable GMT bezel, positioning it as the precious metal option in the dual-time zone lineup.

The 40mm case is crafted from white gold and houses the automatic caliber 3185 movement with a 48-hour power reserve. A sapphire crystal protects the black dial, while the Oyster bracelet provides the connection to the wrist. Water resistance extends to 100 meters.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking GMT functionality in precious metal construction. The white gold case material and twelve-year production run from 2007 to 2019 establish its position within the contemporary GMT-Master II range. The combination of practical dual-time zone capability with precious metal construction targets those prioritizing both function and material quality.

on GMT, you've 6542 / 1675 & so many further choices. Best, mahesh.,

but that dial is perplexing 😍Daytona feels assuringly solid on the wrist and a very handsome watch indeed

They told me it shouldn’t be a problem to get it like Nico says

but I find the meteorite dial remarkably out of place on the GMT. It’s not a good look. And, as meteorite dials go, there are nicer ones out there (JLC Master Calendar, for example). That being said, I think the dial on the Daytona is gorgeous. So, as between the two, that’s the way I’d go. 😊

However once I saw it and put it on my wrist my perception changed . I am still drawn more toward the Daytona as it is a truly harmonious looking watch and also I like my watches hefty so it ticks the box there too

fallen down on a Farm area called Gibeon. Read about. It's a dream. Had a Daytona with that kind of meteorite.
