This is a watch that has haunted me for a long time. Even now, having taken the decision to buy it, I am still filled with worry and concern and fear. Why? I am not sure. Is it because the insert can crumble into a thousand pieces if I sneeze? Maybe. Who knows....but the thing is, I now own one. More....when my wife saw it, she said she thought it was the most attractive watch that she had ever seen. Nicolas has reviewed and evaluated this watch in great detail in the past. In fact, so much so, that I am not even going to begin to discuss its history and importance...at least not today. Today is about seeing a little glimpse of this stunning watch.

OK...maybe a little more?

More still?

I have always said that certain watches command a certain presence on the wrist. The DRSD Mk2 is one that just commands presence. The Paul Newman also seems to do this. Certain watches have that Factor X that just cannot be defined. Well, it is early days for me an my 6542. But my initial impression is that it is one of those rare watches that just has "it".

Hope you like these first initial glimpses at this GMT.
