In this captivating thread, westrop explores the allure of a diamond-dial Rolex, challenging his own preconceptions about men's watches adorned with precious stones. His initial encounter at an Authorized Dealer sparks a candid discussion within the community about personal style, occasion-appropriate wear, and the evolving perception of 'bling' in luxury horology. westrop's willingness to reconsider a traditionally polarizing aesthetic invites readers to reflect on their own watch collecting boundaries.

I'm not a diamond man but that's a question of taste. What I can say is that if you keep asking yourself whether it was a good idea to get this watch each time you look at it, it's probably not a good idea to pull the trigger. Just my two carats Nicolas
When i fell in instant love with a watch that my wife would love to have... some bling bling is appropriate in some situations. not always but why not some times? ;-)
The day date is about all the fantasy around the « président » attributes. There is a part of you that says : go for it while you can enjoy it !! Guilty pleasure and how others feel about it... do not mind! But we know how hard it is not to unfortunately. I am considering a DD yellow 36 mm and it has been on my mind for 2 years now, i am unpatiently waiting for the right opportunity. Good picture by the way
Really a big fan of how they are making these dials. So much better in the real than on photos
I recently borrowed a diamond watch from H. Moser. You can read my review below. Point being is that it really depends on who you are and what the occasion is. If you're a movie star or a music star, you can rock this watch all the time! As I have an acquaintance who is a professional musician and a big famous star who does wear a diamond watch often and I find it perfectly appropriate. If you're just a normal person like myself... It might be too much. www.watchprosite.com
I'm joking, I don't normally attend red carpet galas!
