Rnaden shares his appreciation for a favorite modern Rolex, highlighting a discontinued 40mm model with slimmer lugs and hands. His post delves into the design nuances he prefers over newer 42mm versions, offering a personal perspective on what makes this reference a versatile and enduring choice for collectors.
Not in production anymore for almost a decade, but still a very nice Rolex to wear. Nice size, great case profile and wears very nice on top of being versatile.
I prefer this older 40mm case with slimmer lugs and slimmer hands compared to the newer 42mm and fat hands. It’s a personal opinion as the new size doesn’t sit on small wrists very well.
