ah, the times I have been kicking and cursing myself for being careful..Sigh!
over the one on the newer version by far.
The rotor had come off some years back and I was too lazy to take it to the spa, so for a good number of years I was still winding it manually and it would run flawlessly, just without the "perpetual" part. That's the one thing with Rolex movements, it does literally take a beating and keep going.
