Baron - Mr Red recounts an exclusive PuristSPro gathering in Paris, humorously dubbed a "summoning" by Vlad. His post captures the excitement of discovering breathtaking vintage watches and the camaraderie among collectors. This article offers a glimpse into the vibrant community spirit and the passion for horology that defines such events.

It was a bit like the Batman film where Batman summoned all the bats. In this case, a gang of anonymous bodies gathered around Paris with a treasure trove of watches. Some watches I did not get to capture. Here is a brief glimpse of some of  the watches that really caught my attention....just breathtaking.

Starting, of course, with this amazing GMT

Beautiful lollipop....the SM 300 is such an icon

I even managed to capture some of this chocolate dial on the S58....

Ahhhh, the 666.....this MUST be the next watch I get....I think I am starting to prefer the silver dial to the black! The watch has such a presence on the wrist

Ah, now onto Subs! Not the greatest picture in the world, but I liked the way the light reflection created new lume dots! Almost a prefect golden match! Just awesome patina

Uhmm....another one on my wish-list. I love the grain in the dial....I just love this watch

But, after seeing some stunning watches, we get instructed to head to a hidden destination. Unknown venue. But I can reveal a few details...my driver is both right handed...

And left-handed

We are following a mysterious car

Darkness visits....Darko and Vladimir are heading for a job

Where we go, i have no idea

And of what we did, my lips are sealed....

But it was a fantastic trip to Paris, filled with adventure, fantastic watches, old friends, new friends and ... as always.... that great passion that fills us with this hobby of ours. Just awesome trip....thanks to Vlad for his hospitality and to all those who organised such a great trip. Aurevoir Paris..a bientot.

A meeting of PuristS....and a great representation of that....
