I was actually surprised but the price the AP went for, it was a beautiful piece but what a crazy price. The PP, FPJ and Tudor were all as expected. On the other side, I thought the Urwerk x LF would have gone higher, but most were in the range of reasonable. Great cause and lots of money raised to help them. Will have to wait 2 years for the next stab at it... Cheers Andrew

I agree... it is not a spectacular watch... I don't mind it, but its a tool watch... but as we know Rolex/Tudor do not make unique pieces so if you ever want to get something unique, I guess it ticks the box. Sure he is happy to take it home together with his other very significant purchase of the day. For me 800k for an AP perpetual... I think I would keep mine and add a Gruebel Forsey! Cheers Andrew
