On my wrist today: ref OT 2500 - Centenary Model /automatic bumper caliber 30-10 with chronometer certification.

Launched in 1948 celebrating 100 years of Omega. 35mm gold case. Design by Rene Bannwart.

It was offered inside a carton box inside a Silver chest which could be used as a cigarette case if owner wished. Box was made in 800 Silver by Jezler of Switzerland .

Original price was us$ 450.00 on its day, approximately equivalent to around us$ 4.800,00 of today.

This model was the inspiration for the creation of the Constellation line launched about three years later.

A wonderful watch and piece of collection for Omega lovers!! Have a safe week my dear watch loving friends!!
