Christianch shares an in-depth visual review of his Omega Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Speedmaster, a watch he initially wasn't sure he needed but quickly fell in love with upon seeing it in person. His detailed photos and initial impressions offer valuable insights into the 'moonshine' gold and overall design, providing a collector's perspective on this significant commemorative timepiece. This article explores why this particular Speedmaster stands out even to seasoned Moonwatch collectors.
but in person the watch is absolutely stunning. I like the "moonshine" gold combination that is not too much yet very elegant.

Hope to get the chance to see the watch on the wrist one day . Huge Congrats and wear it in best of health
enough to always remain interesting, even after some years of owning this watch. The full gold version could be a little bit better in that perspective, however, when i consider the price i would say it is very plausible to choose the SS version. I must say that your pictures are very good and i tend to think that the watch is even nicer than i thought it was. Anyways, enjoy your timepiece! Omega always makes nice boxes, but your watchbox might be the most interesting omega box ive seen so far.
It is indeed very nice and ..in person is very different than on the photos. At least this was my feeling because I didn't really go in today to buy it...but it was really too good to pass !
is not like a "classic" Moonwatch but I already have more classic models so for me it did the trick. Curious that you mention the box ! Is really a very special one and I have to admit that had an influence too (how crazy..I know). The full gold is a gorgeous piece, just I am not sure if I would wear that as much..and of course the price is also a consideration
because of the moonshine gold that is a very nice touch ! The other Moonwatches (with the exception with the titanium/sedna gold one and the snoopy ) are closer to the "classic" Speedmaster so it is different. Also the bracelet is definitely better, thinner and with an excellent construction. Overall it feels like a true celebration Speedmaster.
I’ve been wearing on Velcro since day 1 and I love it.
