Dear All,
Just a very visual review about the Omega Apollo 11 50th Anniversary that I received today !
Initially I wasn't so convinced about the watch: I do have my fair share of Moonwatches so I thought... I wouldn't need another one wink but in person the watch is absolutely stunning. I like the "moonshine" gold combination that is not too much yet very elegant.

I also had the privilege to try on the full gold version (It was reserved for another client) but I think I am happy with my choice smile

The bracelet is very comfortable ...and the included cork strap is also very interesting and will try it in the future. I am absolutely in love with the watch so here are some photos:

Just outside the boutique !

The back is also very cool!

What do you think ? How do you like it ? I'd love to hear from both owners and non-owners !
Thanks for watching!
Christian

enough to always remain interesting, even after some years of owning this watch. The full gold version could be a little bit better in that perspective, however, when i consider the price i would say it is very plausible to choose the SS version. I must say that your pictures are very good and i tend to think that the watch is even nicer than i thought it was. Anyways, enjoy your timepiece! Omega always makes nice boxes, but your watchbox might be the most interesting omega box ive seen so far.

It is indeed very nice and ..in person is very different than on the photos. At least this was my feeling because I didn't really go in today to buy it...but it was really too good to pass !

is not like a "classic" Moonwatch but I already have more classic models so for me it did the trick. Curious that you mention the box ! Is really a very special one and I have to admit that had an influence too (how crazy..I know). The full gold is a gorgeous piece, just I am not sure if I would wear that as much..and of course the price is also a consideration

because of the moonshine gold that is a very nice touch ! The other Moonwatches (with the exception with the titanium/sedna gold one and the snoopy ) are closer to the "classic" Speedmaster so it is different. Also the bracelet is definitely better, thinner and with an excellent construction. Overall it feels like a true celebration Speedmaster.

I’ve been wearing on Velcro since day 1 and I love it.
