Team,

I was able to learn something about watches, how my personal taste changes and I continue to enjoy every watch and every post here.

I was able to determine what watches excites me, watches that are here to stay and others that are not.

Just like life, I learn every single day and I love to be on an environment that is friendly and universal.

Of course, I don't know personally most of the members here but, as much is virtually possible, I'm surrounded by friends.

About tastes, I'm trying to stay with three brands that in one way or another, "sing to me".

IWC, Jaeger Lecoultre and Omega (yes, they are in alphabetical order) are those brands.

Why, one may ask?

IWC, because of the design and history. Portuguese (now they call it "Portugieser"), Flieger, Aquatimer and Ingenieur are my addiction.

Jaeger Lecoultre, because of the history, the bold designs and, of course, Nicolas.

Omega, because of the history, Moon watch and the aggressive approach to technology (CoAxial and now Master line).

Let's see some pieces that I love, all in B&W:

Aquatimer Vintage Collection:

IWC Mark XII

IWC Portugieser Classic:

IWC DoppelChronograph:

JLC Amvox I:

JLC Amvox II

Omega Speedmaster HB-SIA:

Omega Seamaster Good Planet:

Omega Seamaster NZL-32:

Omega Speedmaster Dark Side Of The Moon:

Omega Speedmaster Moon phase:

Omega Speedmaster Olympic (Beijing):

Omega Seamaster 300m Master:

Omega Speedmaster CoAxial '57:

Thanks for seeing and thanks to all Purists.

Cheers,

Nilo

LOL! I thought you were speaking about the bezel insert. :)))

I was thinking the post was about an intensive insert testing... ;) 6000 is an excellent number of interesting, well written and funny posts, without forgetting the oics " ala Nilo ". Bravo, my friend, and thanks for the kind words, as well! Nicolas

I don't have bezel inserts issues ...

Thank you Nico. And thank you again for pointing the JLC "route". I hope that one day you jump into the XXI century with a Master CoAxial. Cheers, Nilo

The new Seamaster 300 is a pretty serious contender for my 1st modern Omega

Unless I go a different way with the Speedmaster Alaska Project? ;) Best, Nicolas
