Jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) recounts an exclusive Montblanc Villeret event in Singapore, hosted by Mr. Andreas Boesch, focusing on the brand's high-end watch collection. The post offers a personal glimpse into the gathering, highlighting interactions with master watchmakers Mr. Cabbidu and Julien, and showcasing Montblanc's exquisite timepieces.

Hi all

Last night in Singapore, Mr Andreas Boesch (MD South East Asia for Montblanc), hosted us to a cosy cocktail and dinner at "The House of Montblanc". It was an event focused on MB's high end watch collection. i.e. MB Collection Villeret.

Mr Cabbidu was present as the Guest of Honor, along with his apprentice Julien.
It was great to catch up with my old friends from MB Villeret and MB Singapore in a cosy dinner.

Here are some pictures of the event and watches (all taken from my smartphone).
My favorite picture is the one I had with Mr Cabbidu - with our watches (the same model, LE to 8 pieces... didn't get to see his number!).
When I met him in Watches and Wonders in HK, I was so engrossed with the private session we had with him and Julien that I forgot to take any pictures of the new split seconds chronograph - finally managed to take a nicer picture last night! smile

Also met some fellow Purists last night. Great catch up (esp with Kevin)! smile

Thank you Montblanc for hosting us. It was a wonderful evening, with some great whiskey cocktail pairing with each dish - very unique! (instead of wine pairing)

cheers

I don't handle whiskey well and had a massive hangover the next day even though I didn't drink that much! Hope you enjoyed the pics Dean Cheers Robin

But having time with their master watchmakers like Mr Cabbidu and Julien is even more enjoyable! I hope they will come Asia more often next year. They had the same event in Bangkok, Thailand just before Singapore this week so I sense South East Asia will be a big focus for MB. Cheers Robin
