Dear all

I still remember getting a note from our Montblanc Moderator, Mike, when I got my Montblanc Villeret watch in Aug/Sep 2013. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that Mr Alexander Schmiedt wrote a personal note to me, to congratulate me for getting a Montblanc Villeret watch and telling me he will share my joy with his colleagues at the Villeret manufacture. He also expressed happiness that one of their "children" (to the watchmakers, each of the 50 Villeret watches they produce each year is a child of theirs!) has found a new home and he and his colleagues are very happy that the owner (me) loves the "child". I felt the personal touch from Montblanc's most senior watch executive, the global Managing Director for the watch category, writing personally to Villeret owners on PuristSPro, is something I really appreciate.

Today, I got a similar note from Alexander, this time as the Montblanc forum co-Moderator and the recipient of the note is for our new Montblanc Villeret owner, Constantin (aka tudorctin). Constantin and Alexander both agreed to allow this message to be shared here on the forum so that everyone can share in Constantin's joy and our passion for Montblanc Villeret watches.

See below  Mr Alexander Schmiedt's note to Constantin. To read Constantin's post of his new watch for his birthday, click here:

Dear Constantin,

I am very pleased to learn from Robin- and to read on the Purist forum- that you have decided to join the exclusive circle of Montblanc Villeret owners. Let me tell you you are in very good company of some of the worlds finest watch connoisseurs and afficionados.

Because understanding what a Montblanc Villeret stands for – and  being able to appreciate it- means clearly going “beyond the obvious”. When I read your post on how you describe the movement, thinking of the watchmaker who finished this movement from A-Z  with all his passion and dedication, then I am convinced that another Villeret has found a place where it  really belongs to.

The fact that you took the time to share your feelings and passion on the forum makes me even more proud- and certainly also the watchmakers at the manufacture with whom I will take the liberty to share your post.

Again, welcome to the Montblanc family of watch collectors. Wear your Villeret in good health and continue grow the passion- and share it with us. And thanks to your wife for the good advice- the red gold suits you very well wink
I would look forward to meeting you one day in person.

In the meantime,
All the best

Alexander Schmiedt

100% agree with you Nicolas. It is a weekend and Alex still spends time to show his appreciation to a new client and to congratulate Constantin on his new purchase. I am very impressed! With Alex setting such an example, no wonder I receive great service from Montblanc all the time, from the HQ to the offices to the boutiques. cheers robin

Agree Montblanc really does take care of their customers in style, esp their Villeret clients. I have heard and experienced for myself how often Montblanc staff refers to us their customers and friends as part of the Montblanc family and I personally experienced this many times in Singapore. Thanks for kind feedback ED209 Cheers Robin

Congratulations Constantin! When you buy a Villeret, you really buy into a family. Hopefully all goes well Constantin. And if there are any specific customer service issues or problems with the watch, we would appreciate it if you shared them with us. Thanks!
