Beerstyle's enduring satisfaction with his Montblanc timepiece, specifically highlighting its Calibre 16.31, offers a compelling look into the value proposition of 'off the beaten track' luxury brands. This article explores why collectors, like beerstyle, find lasting appeal in watches that deliver exceptional horological craftsmanship without the premium price tag of more established marques. His perspective encourages a re-evaluation of what constitutes true value in high-end watch collecting.

absolutely no regrets even after all these yrs. Always happy to buy value brands that are off the beaten track smile

Love the large balance wheel and detail. Rivals watches that are twice the price ! Great piece sir !

if you get tired of the front side, you just turn it over and the amazement starts all over again: what a movement!

I love the big balance wheel too. All these stuff done in house, including hairspring. and much cheaper than PP, VC or Lange.
