FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 11 May 2011

PuristS and Ludovic Ballouard announce the Ballouard PuristS 10th Upside Down Watch

The PuristS’ family of horology and luxury websites (ThePuristS.com and PuristSPro.com) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2011, with a gathering of PuristS, friends, watchmakers and sponsors. A number of watchmakers and brands are issuing limited edition or piece unique watches to commemorate a decade of PuristS independence on the horological scene.

“PuristS appreciate innovation in horology and especially quirky horology as embodied in the Ludovic Ballouard PuristS 10th Upside Down watch, said Dr Melvyn Teillol-Foo (PuristSPro CEO), continuing: “Ludovic worked with Franck Muller and François-Paul Journe before setting out on his own with a technical, poetic and playful watch.”

Ludovic Ballouard explained, “The idea was to introduce a fun watch which brings a new time display in a simple context. The context had to be simple to take into account some economic realities and also to realise a watch that is reliable and easy to service. It is also collaborative in the PuristS spirit; through my relationships and working with suppliers who are also friends."

Dear tobias, The watchmakers for many of the P10 editions incorporated PuristS themes of colour and numbers as mentioned in the Press Release for the DeWitt P10 watch: home.watchprosite.com That is why we have chocolate coloured MB&F Frogs and DeWitt dials. They incorporated some PuristS touches like our lucky numbers 1-7-8 that sounds like our credo in Chinese: 'All Together We Prosper'. In the
