The hammers and gongs are on the front, so no hint of the minute repeater from the back side. 

I found it a bit disappointing, acoustically, and my preference goes to the simpler Zeitwerk. The hammers and the gongs kill the aesthetics of the dial, for me.

I’ve never had an opportunity to test the acoustics of this piece. Sad to hear it was disappointing from that regard. Aesthetically though, and IMO it’s a clean look. Thanks for sharing.

I mean the sound is not powerful enough... Too discrete.

Yes, I understood your point. Hence my disclaimer of not ever hearing it. I do like the way they incorporated the gongs and hammers into the dial.
