Personally I love the Datograph on a nice black gator strap (probably one of the only watches that I like with a black strap) but I must admit it is definitely cool and it must balance better the weight of the watch on the wrist (I remember when I was having one that the only negative point about the Dato for me is that it was rolling on my wrist due to the weight thus giving discomfort). I need to change the title to “SS bracelet group” 🤣 like others here. But I would consider a wellendorf if I could get my hands on one and it fit multiple Pt Lange.
In my haste I left out SS 🤦♂️.. You’re right that a misaligned a hole on a strap or a loose bracelet is not good for the Datograph due to its bulk
I guess I have established that the bracelet will look awesome on the Dato, but I particularly like the wellendorf design better at least when it comes to the design and uniqueness. I am not sure if the more intricate wellendorf will look good on all multiple models though… would have to check.
